California Beet Growers Association

About
our organization

The California Beet Growers Association (CBGA) represents and advocates for sugar beet producers across California. Founded in 1931, CBGA has been at the forefront of protecting grower interests, advancing research and innovation, and working collaboratively with processors, policymakers, and the broader ag community.

Our mission is to promote a sustainable, profitable, and competitive beet industry by:

  • Advocating for grower-friendly policies and regulations

  • Supporting beet research and pest management programs

  • Providing education, resources, and outreach

  • Building strong relationships with industry partners and state leaders

Together, we are committed to securing the future of California beet production and ensuring our growers thrive for generations to come.
